Grundy Radiologists
Grundy Radiologists are committed to serving patients with prompt, quality health care. Grundy Radiologists conduct over 70,000 procedures yearly. We are based at Morris Hospital, in Morris, IL and we provide imaging services throughout Grundy County and the surrounding communities. All of our physicians have met the rigorous standards of major medical and residency training programs and are board certified by the American Board of Radiology. Our group is dedicated to providing the highest quality imaging services available utilizing state-of-the-art equipment. Our subspecialty radiologists have advanced fellowship training that covers the entire spectrum of Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology.
Grundy Radiologists and the Cardiology Department of Morris Hospital are now able to provide a non-invasive way to image the heart and coronary arteries. Due to the recent purchase of a state-of-the-art GE lightspeed 64-slice scanner, a patient’s heart and coronary arteries can be scanned within seconds. This non-invasive, outpatient test will significantly impact the treatment and diagnosis of patients with heart problems. “The biggest benefit of this technology is in its negative predictive value. Which means that if the test is normal, then a patient can rest easy that their heart is not the problem,” said Dr. Biren M. Patel, a radiologist at Morris Hospital.
